The MagaZorb® RNA Isolation Kit isolates high yields of purified RNA from various biological sources using one simple protocol.

The RNA purified by the MagaZorb® RNA Isolation Kit is ready for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, sequencing, or blotting.

RNA can be purified from:

Whole Blood
Buffy Coat
Tissue
Plasma
Serum

Of particular importance is the application of the MagaZorb® RNA Kit to isolation of total RNA directly from whole blood, as normally challenging application because:

RNA is only found, in appreciable amounts, in white blood cells (WBC), which constitute only ~0.2% of blood cells;
RNA quality is affected by the presence of high amounts of RNase and genomic DNA;
Whole blood is commonly fractionated to obtain clean WBCs (Buffy Coat) before isolating RNA - a time consuming process.

MagaZorb® RNA Isolation Kits are designed to overcome these limitations and allow for purification of total RNA directly from whole blood. It can also be used for isolation of total RNA from WBCs, Buffy Coat, and Tissue
